Since 2020, the Perseverance rover has been collecting geological samples from the surface of Mars. These retro-inspired baseball cards were created to engage the science community with the possibility of bringing these samples back home to Earth for research. The decks, which are updated as the rover continues to collect samples, are handed out at various science conferences and speaking events as an exciting learning memento for researchers to take home with them.
